Disadvantages Of Studying Abroad

Nowadays, many people choose to go to foreign countries in order to study and build an independent lifestyle. And they think that the life in there is always wonderful, lovely. Maybe the local people are nice and friendly, the environment is fresh and not polluted, advanced learning techniques etc. But studying oversea is not as nice as they expected. They have to face to many problems while studying abroad that they will never imagine.
The first drawback is you'll have to pay a lot of money if you want to study abroad when you don't have a scholarship to go. So that your parents will have to work harder and harder to spend money on your study abroad. If there is no problem about the money, that means you are a rich kid with parents are millionaire or billionaire. And if you do not study hard, the amount that parents spent on your study is going to be wasted.
The second drawback is studying abroad doesn't mean that you can speak and learn the language magically like the local people do. When you are in your country, you can speak with your friends and English teacher easily. And you think that is enough for communicating with foreigners. But then you realize that you can't talk to them or even hear what they are saying! Of course studying oversea will help you learn and understand the language better, but if you don't communicate often, your listening and speaking skills won't be improved.
Another drawback of studying abroad is you may have chances of exposed to non-ethical things and be influenced to them. You will become a bad person and not focus on studying anymore and that can destroy your future. So keep yourself awake and stay away from those things.
Last but not least, studying abroad means you have to build an independent life. Do and arrange everything without parents's help.In the beginning you may feel lonely and homesick it's just normal because anybody who study abroad feel the same. But thanks to facebook, instagram and social media you can call video to your family, relatives and friends easily.
In conclusion, studying abroad may not perfect as you expected, but it also has benefits like I wrote in the first paragraph and even more. If you really want to study abroad, don't be afraid to challenge yourself.
