Disadvantages of Studying Abroad - ĐÌNH ĐÌNH

Nowadays, more and more people choose to study abroad. Besides advantages, it has some drawback in studying abroad.

The first problem is the cost of studying abroad. It will be very expensive if you don’t receive full scholarship. And then, you have to do a part-time job or more than that. However, you do not only pay school fees, but also pay your travel expenses, your apartment payment, etc. For example, you are ready for taking bus to go longer because there is a supermarket which sells food cheaper than the city centre. So you must try your best if you want to live and study well in other country.

Next, you can have some difficulties in communicating with native speakers. They use many words which you have never heard, they describe something in other way that you often use, so you can try to hear them and ask them anything you don’t understand.  Or you feel strange to acquire new knowledges, you are like a fish out of water so the lessons, the methods of studying in different countries are not normal for you to learn them easily. Moreover, you have to handle a new test that you have never seen before. Because you are a foreigner, you do not have many friends to discuss with them about the test.

Another problem you can face to is the loneliness. In the beginning, you will feel lonely and homesick, you have many difficulties but you cannot share it with anyone like you’re in hometown. This is exactly normal! Don’t worry about this. At that time, you can cry, you can loud but you have to be strong to handle everything.

In conclusion, you should study abroad if you have a chance. You will have a good relationship with people in other countries so don’t be afraid to try!
